Magnesiumhydroxid mg (OH) 2

Magnesiumhydroxid (kemisk formel: Mg (OH) ₂), även känd som kaustisk magnesit eller lätt förbränd magnesia, är en typisk oorganisk hydroxidflamhämmande. Dess utseende är vitt pulver, med en trippel flamskyddsmekanism för hög termisk nedbrytningstemperatur (initial sönderdelningstemperatur på cirka 340 ℃), frisättning av bundet vatten under förbränning för att absorbera värme och svalna ner och generering av magnesiumoxid för att isolera syre. Samtidigt har det fördelarna med rökundertryckning, halogenfria, icke-toxiska, syra- och alkali-resistens, vilket gör det till ett idealiskt val att ersätta traditionella halogen som innehåller flamskyddsmedel.

Magnesium Hydroxide Mg(OH)₂ is a versatile inorganic flame retardant available in multiple grades (MDH-III-3, MDH-III-10, MDH-I, and modified types with stearic acid/silane). 


Magnesium hydroxide

Appearance: White powder, high purity (Mg (OH) ₂ content ≥ 99%), controllable particle size (D50=1-10 μ m), can provide different specifications of nanometer and micrometer products according to needs, ensuring uniform dispersion in the substrate.

Density: 2.36g/cm ³, light specific gravity, and minimal impact on the mechanical properties of the material after addition.

Solubility: Difficult to dissolve in water (solubility 0.0009g/100mL, 20 ℃), excellent water resistance, suitable for humid environments.
